Description
Vilnius hosted the International Forum on Holocaust-Era Looted Cultural Assets held under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania. The Forum was organized as a follow-up of the Washington Conference on Holocaust-Era Assets and 38 countries attended.
A Final Declaration endorsed by the governments present advanced the eleven principles of the Washington Conference on Holocaust-Era Assets and proposed further actions to be taken to enable the restitution of Nazi looted cultural property.
The proceedings of the Vilnius Forum were listed on the Vilnius Forum website. The website no longer exists.
